How much of your multimedia and graphic design projects do you outsource?

On average, I have outsourced approximately five percent of all projects I have completed for clients.

First of all, I would not call it outsourcing because I only use designers I have worked with and have personally known for years. They are very talented and I look up to them as people and artists. I would say we work alongside of each other, and help each other out when it is needed.

Do I own the copyright of the design work DesignTunnel does for me?

All copyrights are transferred over to the client upon clearance of full payment. To continue providing competitive rates, I require the client to verify that both the artwork requested and any original designs given to DesignTunnel will not infringe upon any statutory copyright.

Do you charge hourly or do lump sum rates?

I have no problem charging an hourly rate or submitting a lump sum rate for a graphic design project. I am flexible because all graphic design projects are unique.

What is your payment plan for graphic design services?

For jobs with a quote of under $500, an initial payment representing one-half of the total fee is required upon signing a work contract. The remainder fee is due upon completion of the job.

For projects with a quote of over $500, an initial payment representing one-third of the estimated total fee is required. The second one-third is billable upon the halfway point or second phase of the project, with the final third due upon completion of the project.

What if I decide to cancel a design job?

The client will only be billed for the hours worked.
